This medicine is indicated in children (over the age of 2 years) in case of recent respiratory disorder with difficulty expectorating (i.e. difficulty coughing up phlegm).

For children aged 2 to 5 years: One 5ml measuring spoon 2 times a day.
For children aged over 5 years: One 5ml measuring spoon 3 times a day.

One 5 ml measuring spoon contains 100 mg of carbocisteine.
